Many forms of modern yoga focus on training the body, but often forget to train the mind.
Vedic (Himalayan) Yoga blends training of the body and mind, so that we can gain access to our inner Source and Soul.
The tradition of Vedic Yoga considers our physical, mental and spiritual development at
different levels: there is a physical level, behind which is the energy level, behind which
is the mental level, and behind which is the layer of wisdom - the higher mind, the
intuitive mind.
The practice of Vedic Yoga is aimed at bringing balance between your physical,
energetic and mental levels.
As soon as harmony arises between these three layers, you reach the stage of clarity. Then you are guided by the layer of wisdom, which then leads to harmony between your outer
and inner life to your essential peace and happiness - all of which are already inside you and
are the basis for your healing and well-being.
On the physical level, the human body becomes healthy, strong, flexible, obedient, and
ceases to be an obstacle and a burden. A healthy body helps us realize our inner
potential and becomes a reliable assistant in the knowledge of our spiritual life.
Vedic Yoga helps to achieve a state of balance, harmony, peace, and connection with our
true self. This brings us to a state of clarity, energy, strength, and peace which allows us to gain the ability to realize our inner source.
Every cell of our body is spiritualized through the Vedic practice.
Our mind becomes pure, clear, strong, stable, and elevated. Our mind's ability to understand the world expands and we begin to develop spiritually. Every person, whether we realize it or not, experiences a desire for elevation - this is a natural aspiration of the human soul.
Without sublimity in a person's life, there will always be a state of inner dissatisfaction, a
feeling that something is missing, something very important and valuable, that life is
being wasted...
....and this inner yearning of the soul pushes a person to search.
The only change that we can make is to stop and distance ourselves from material affairs - at least for a while - be alone with ourselves, try to connect with our inner dimension, and enter into deep contact with ourselves to hear our soul.
Vedic Yoga provides methods for achieving this sublimity, purifying the body, purifying
the mind, bringing all dimensions of the human being to balance and perfect equilibrium.
By learning and practicing the methods and principles of Vedic Yoga, we gradually
begin to move towards a state of neutrality, inner silence, inner peace, inner joy… and
then to the experience of your inherent nature.
Vedic Yoga is not just a theory – it's a lived in experience. It helps us develop integration and harmony by training our mind, body and our senses so that we can experience our inner awakening and change our lives!
